Lareeca Sampson
Clinical Social Work Intern
I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern from Walden University with a keen interest in promoting social-emotional health and emotional intelligence in youth and families. As an intern, I am dedicated to honing my skills in providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges.
Through my internship, I aim to gain valuable insights and hands-on experience in providing holistic support to clients of all ages. I am eager to contribute my knowledge and enthusiasm to the team while continuing to learn and grow in my journey toward becoming a skilled and compassionate social worker.
With a deep understanding of the importance of mental well-being, I am committed to fostering resilience and empowerment among young people. My academic background and practical experience have equipped me with the necessary tools to address the complex needs of adolescents, teenagers, and families. My internship focus is on improving practice systems in an effort to optimize the client's clinical experience.
I also facilitate a young girls' group that introduces foundational concepts of self-esteem and self-confidence by recognizing strengths and addressing negative thoughts to foster confidence and resilience.
I believe in the inherent worth of every individual and advocate for social justice and equity through empathy and collaboration. My commitment to creating empowering environments and fostering resilience guides my work towards helping others reach their full potential.
